Dan Veverka
“Danny V.”, is a self-taught musician hailing from the sprawling metropolis known as Austin, MN. He learned to play drums by playing along to songs by Rush, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, etc. Once he discovered he was NOT Neil Peart, he progressed to such artists as Jo-Jo Mayer, Buddy Rich, Thomas Lang, Johnny Rabb, etc.
Tony Crispigna
Tony Crispigna, “Tony C.” or “T-Bird”, is a self-taught musician hailing from the dynamic confines of the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan (e.g., Escanaba, Marquette). Tony C. was struck by music as an adolescent through the epic sounds of Metallica, Guns-N-Roses, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Slayer, etc. Towards the end of college, Tony C. sang in a Catholic church choir and was politely inspired by the choir director, “you have a wonderful instrument, learn how to use it and you will be on your way…”. Tony C. also had an extended bartending career in front of live nationally-touring acts such as the Gin Blossoms, Leo Kotke, Electric Six, Eddie Campbell, etc. and local music. Thus, nudges of confidence and curiosity have shaped his musical path towards projects such as The Lochness Rocksters, Magic Black Pumas, and currently, Verretta. Current major influences include (but are not limited to) The Strokes, Eagles of Death Metal, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, The Who, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, T-Rex, etc. When Tony C. is not being music, he is attending to the rhythms of his life.
Alex Christopherson
Alexander Christopherson, “Alexio” or “The Kid”, is a self-taught multi-instrumental artist from Apple Valley, MN. Alex enjoys playing the mandolin, ukulele, and sometimes banjo. Alex devours the low-end on bass, hands down. When he’s not walkin’ the low-end grooves, he enjoys ultimate frisbee, cigars, and a good IPA. Influences include (but are not limited to) Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Punch Brothers, The Beatles, and Dr. Manhattan.
Michael Roney
Michael “Rones” Roney hails from Cottage Grove, MN. Michael is a detailed oriented technician, fine lead guitar player and great “layering” addition to Verretta. Influences include (but are not limited to) Gary Clark, Jr., Jimi Hendrix, The Black Keys, Daft Punk, Nirvana and Gordon Lightfoot.
